Afternoon Etiquette Classes for Children

Afternoon tea teaches a multitude of skills to children: confidence in social situations, planning, attention to detail, good manners, motor skills, patience, sharing, and conversation.

Like all life skills, the earlier they can be learned, the better.  Hence we are offering a series of four 75- minute classes for ages 5 to 8 and 9 to 12 this summer.

In the final lesson, participants will host their own tea party with fresh made scones and finger sandwiches while practicing their newly learned skills with their peers.

These classes are the first in a series that will include dining etiquette for teens and adults, and special classes on formal meals for all age groups.

Included: Handouts. Certificate of Completion.  Prizes for star pupils. Tea, scones, and finger sandwiches daily.

*Classes start at 3 PM and are limited to 12 participants.
